Oh what do we do in the winter time?
Ski school.

Gymnastics.

Swimming lessons.
Sew.
Make silly faces.

Not all at the same time, of course! This is what has been keeping us busy (and warm) lately.

Five!
The boys had their fifth birthday while we were visiting family for the holidays. We had a fun and busy day. First up was the dinosaur museum. Sorry for so few pictures. I got a lot of pictures of the back of kids' heads...they couldn't hold still!
Later we had a delicious doughnut cake. This was Connor's choice. Seth chose to have cupcakes. No pictures of those though. :)

And of course presents. There were plenty of little hands to help open gifts. The boys had a great day and were so excited to turn five!

Highlights
Okay, here is my catch up post. Purely for historical purposes.
Aunt Aimee went on a mission in December to Jackson, Mississippi. Here we are Thanksgiving weekend to say goodbye.

Sam & Aimee. They are fun.

December Highlights:
Cutting down a tree.

Christmas morning.

Playing with Aunt Jennie at the park. Vegas Christmas = warm!

Cousins! They are still great friends even though we hadn't seen each other for several months.

Milestone!
Claire actually let me put pigtails in her hair tonight! This is a HUGE milestone for us. She usually won't allow more than a barrette in the front. And I fully expect her to refuse the pigtails tomorrow. I told her she has pretty hair like Kaitlynn and Janey. And then she said, "I'm Janey." Like her friend in nursery, who always has cute pigtails. There are Thanksgiving pictures coming...this is all I have patience for tonight. :)

Halloween
We started our Halloween festivities at the boys' preschool party. Connor was Peter Pan and Seth was Captain Hook.

They made fun spider cookies and mummy marshmallows.

The witch's brew.

Halloween bingo.

Claire got in some good barbie bus play time.

Then trick-or-treating. Connor passing out his treats.

Seth passing out his treats.

Our church had a trunk or treat. The kids had a lot of fun. Here's Tinkerbell, Peter Pan, our pirate friend, and Captain Hook. Tinkerbell was very cute going from trunk to trunk to get her treats. Sorry I didn't get more pictures!

Counting out the haul.

Sadly I didn't even think about pumpkin carving until it was too late. Maybe next year!
